Parish Life Committee

This is a committee of the church whose purpose is to create an atmosphere in which the aspects of family life, love, and commitment can be enhanced and fostered within the parish. As a means of accomplishing the stated goal, various and numerous functions are organized and executed. Some of these are receptions, coffee hours, church suppers, church breakfasts, social outings, Advent dinners, and Lenten soup suppers. Once each month, Episcopal literature and other Christian-oriented materials are available for sale in the Parish Hall after both services. If anyone needs any of this material in between these sales, they should contact Helen Goring.

The Messenger

This newsletter comes into your home once a month, and is also available here on the Church's website. It carries reports and pictures of the events of the past month and news and details of the events of the coming month. It carries a calendar of coming events and the schedule of service for the Chalice Bearers, Servers, Lectors, Ushers, Altar Guild, and Greeters. The first page always carries a letter from our Rector, Fr. Ed. There is also a column, "From the Pew," for meditation. The Messenger lists the birthdays and wedding anniversaries of the parish family so that all may pray and praise God for each of our family members. In the "Did You Know..." column we try to include our family members' triumphs, as well as some humorous things our members have done. Be sure that Colleen Kruezinger knows of your immediate family's good news so that we can include it, thereby telling the rest of St. Mark's family. We welcome items that you feel might interest our members. These items are included as space permits. (Annetta Wiley)
