Episcopal Relief and Development was previously known as the Presiding Bishop’s Fund for World Relief. It is a major response by the Episcopal Church to God’s call to serve Christ in all persons, to love our neighbors, and to respect the dignity of every human being. It raises, receives, and distributes funds for the relief of human suffering and provides emergency relief in times of disaster. St. Mark’s has raised funds from money collected by the Vacation Church School children and the selling of church picture cards. (Judith Cooper)
