The United Thank Offering is a ministry of the Episcopal Church that provides a way for men, women, and children to give daily thanks to God. Members are given "blue boxes" to be taken home where they drop their coins. Once a year, this money is collected in small blue envelopes and then sent away to be used as monetary gifts for grants for use in both domestic and international projects. (Verna Gardner)
