The St. Mark's family is made of all kinds of people, of all ages, and in all walks and conditions of life. If you would like to receive a pastoral call or visit from our clergy, or if you are unable to be at worship and would like Holy Communion brought to you where you live, your hospital room, or wherever else you may be, please call the church office and let us know. We would love to visit with you and ensure that you are cared for spiritually as well as physically. (813-962-3089)
Because of HIPAA regulations, hospitals can no longer notify churches when one of their members is admitted. Therefore we can only find out if you or yours lets us know.
This is a program for children ages 3 through 5th grade. Children are given space and time to explore their relationship with God. Classrooms are set up to be special atrium areas which are designed and scaled specifically for young children to encounter the divine.
Grades 6 through 12 move to the youth House on Sunday mornings for their Sunday School. Using the Living the Good News curriculum, they discuss themes and concepts raised in Bible readings.
Meets Wednesday nights at 7:30 pm in the Youth House for Bible study, games, fun, discussion and fellowship. For grades 6-12. (Victor Lopez)
Throughout the year, we will hold learning series for adults between our Sunday morning services, at 9:15 a.m. Topics and formats vary, from lecture-style sessions to book discussions. Series length varies, and there may be breaks between series, so check our weekly e-mail newsletter for details.
Following the program materials from the Kerygma Bible study books, this group meets to dive deeper into scripture every Monday morning from 10 - 11:30am in the Atrium. Any time is a great time to join! (Sherre Henley and Kathleen Amritt)
This group meets on Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:00pm at different people's homes for lectionary based Bible study, book discussions, and fun outings to restaurants, concerts, GameWorks, Rays games, and the movies. Although the group used to be restricted to younger folks, we now welcome all "young at heart" adults to join in the fellowship. (Victor Lopez and Matt Sammon)
