Book Club - May 23rd
Tuesday, May 23rd, 11:00 am: The Book Club will meet Tuesday, May 23rd at 11:00 am. For this month's discussion they are reading Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg by Irin Carmon and Shana Knizhnik. Men's Dinner - May 25th
Thursday, May 25th, 6:30 pm: Each month the Men's Group has a dinner on the fourth Thursday. All men are invited to come on Thursday, May 25th for dinner and fellowship. The group meets in the Parish Hall at 6:30 pm. Please call John Newton at 813-918-5607 to RSVP.
Contemporary Worship & Potluck Supper - May 27th
Saturday, May 27th, 5:00 pm: Contemporary Worship is a service of prayer and praise, with time for healing prayer with members of the Order of St. Luke. This service includes Communion and contemporary music by Brian Caudill. May's Contemporary Worship will be followed by a potluck supper. This month we will welcome a special guest, Christa Hernandez from Loving You Where You Are At. She will share her experience as a victim of human trafficking, her mission to help other victims, and explain how prevalent the targeting of teenagers in our area. Monday Morning Bible Study
Mondays, 10:00 am: The Monday Bible Class started a new series on February 27th, and invite all to join - it is not too late. "The Bible in Depth" is a great study for anyone ready to explore the Bible and to reflect deeply on the meaning of Scripture for faith and life. For each of ten themes, we will follow stories and events through the Old Testament and into the New Testament including: God's saving acts; Promise and Covenant; God - the knowable and unknowable; How the Scriptures view the world; leadership; The Kingdom of God; The Law and Righteousness; Wisdom; Worship; Hope. Thursday Evening Bible Study
Thursdays, 7:30 pm: Don't wait until Sunday for God's word! Get a head start on each week's readings with the Thursday night Bible study group! We meet every Thursday from 7:30 - 9 p.m. at one of two Barnes & Nobles cafes (on a rotating basis): Dale Mabry & Kennedy Boulevard in Tampa, and Dale Mabry & Stall Road in Carrollwood. Come join us for a fun and intriguing look in to that week's readings, and see what message God wants to deliver to you before the sermon!
