Kindred Spirits is a group for women who meet monthly at different restaurants for fellowship and fun. The Book Club will meet Tuesday, February 26th at 11:00 am. For this month's discussion they are reading The Only Woman in the Room by Marie Benedict. This novel is based on the fascinating life of Hedy Lamarr. Everyone is welcome to join them for their informal book discussions on the fourth Tuesday of every month in the library at St. Mark's. Monday Morning Bible Study
Mondays, 10:00 am: We began this study last year but its thematic nature lends itself to joining at any time. We will begin Theme 5 of ten themes so there is much ahead for us! "The Bible in Depth" is a study for anyone ready to explore the Bible and to reflect deeply on the meaning of Scripture for faith and life. For each of ten themes, we will follow stories and events through the Old Testament and into the New Testament including: God's saving acts; Promise and Covenant; God - the knowable and unknowable; How the Scriptures view the world; leadership; The Kingdom of God; The Law and Righteousness; Wisdom; Worship; Hope.
