MASS IN THE GRASS FOR ST. MARK’S DAY APRIL 22
As part of our big St. Mark’s day celebration, we will be holding our 10:15 a.m. service in the courtyard featuring our Chapel Band. While the 8 a.m. service that day will be a traditional Rite II Eucharist, the “Mass in the Grass” will be a contemporary liturgy with alternative music and prayers. Joining us that day for the service and picnic and festival will be our sister church, St. Francis, the Hispanic parish that shares our building with us. The service will be led by Peter Strimer, our interim rector, and Father Livan, the priest at St. Francis. Their music team will offer a number during the service.
No need to dress up that Sunday; this service will lead directly into a fabulous cookout, play day and festival marking the Feast Day of our Patron Saint, St. Mark. Invite your friends and come join the fun.
