Why Do We Do That? Wednesdays in August
“So why do we do that?” (Young parents, young at heart and those searching for a deeper understanding of our Sunday experience)
For 5 short weeks we are offering a Wednesday night class from 7:00pm to 8:00pm in classroom #3 following the Taize Service to explore the signs and traditions we celebrate in the Holy Eucharist. This group will meet for only the month of August 1, 8. 15, 22, 29.
This is ideal for those who are new and old to the church. We will look at ways to deepen our personal understandings and spirituality around the Eucharist.
We will look at the different moments of the Eucharist. What are all these prayers and gestures! How do we find Jesus in the Eucharist using our Biblical links and historical understanding from the time of Christ?
The group will be using some materials from “Catechesis of the Good Shepherd” program …so if you have looked into those rooms and said “What is that” or “I did not know that!” Now is your chance! Young parents, young at heart and those searching for a deeper understanding of our Sunday experience…you are being called to this group.
