We worship by gathering in God's name, hearing readings from Scripture and preaching about them; by praying for ourselves and others, and exchanging the peace of Christ; and by presenting gifts to God, celebrating the Holy Communion, and sharing God's gifts with all.

What are the different services?

Sundays, 8:00 am
This is a Rite II service with Holy Communion. It has limited music accompanied by organ and a spoken liturgy.

First Sundays - "One-On-One", 8:00 am
We use the Rite I Holy Eucharist service at 8:00 am on the first Sunday of every month.

Sundays, 10:15 am
This is a festal Rite II service with Holy Communion. It has full choral and congregational singing, accompanied by organ, and a sung Eucharistic prayer.

Wednesdays, 6:30 pm
Join us for a time of refreshing and worship at 6:30 Wednesday evenings in the side chapel!

Worship Team

From arranging flowers and setting up the altar, greeting visitors, operating sound equipment, and singing in the choir, to the vergers, acolytes, readers, and Eucharistic ministers who assist clergy during services - many work together each week to glorify God through worship. If you feel called to serve in any aspect of the work of liturgy, please get in touch at 813-962-3089 or office@stmarkstampa.org. We will connect you to the coordinator who can help you get involved.

The Columbarium

The Columbarium at St. Mark’s is located inside the peaceful St. Mark’s Sanctuary, a place of reverence and devotion for all who enter. Our sanctuary offers a safe and loving proximity to, and for, loved ones.  The simple but elegant architectural design provides a peaceful, permanent resting place for cremated remains. The Columbarium at St. Mark’s is carefully maintained by the church.

Availability of niches is reserved for members, former members, and clergy of St. Mark’s. For more information, or if you would like to reserve a niche, please contact the parish office at 813-962-3089 or by email at office@stmarkstampa.org.
